As a social enterprise and construction company based in North London, we work alongside new apprentices from the disadvantaged areas we represent, teaching them the basic skills they require in order to further their careers within the industry.
And, as they focus on a specific field, we continue their education through training and development.
From there we can experience their growth and advancement as they carry out the domestic and commercial building services our company is well known for in Haringey, London and the areas we cover.
However, it is important for us to also focus on those who are currently working in the building trade but haven’t had the opportunity to progress due to a lack of education or training. Morgan Developments is focused on the advancement of all individuals from black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds and we pride ourselves on our abilities to help those who otherwise would not have any reason to move forward with a positive outlook.
We understand that upskilling can be a daunting task with lack of opportunities and confidence quashing the dreams of those who come from disenfranchised communities. Our social enterprise recognises this and works tirelessly to alleviate the stigma that is attached to background or ethnicity.
The benefits of upskilling, training and development also include the possibilities for those in low-income and uninteresting positions to contemplate new career paths and considerably more prospects.
